Since 2008, SkyHoppers Aerial Adventures has offered renowned High Performance Tailwheel Transition Training in our very own 1980 Cessna 180K Skywagon! Based in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, we also offer Flight Training Excursions in the Skywagon throughout the western United States & Baja & the Caribbean. SkyHoppers also offers general pilot training in tricycle-gear airplanes under 14 CFR Part 61 for the Private, Commercial, & Recreational Pilot certificates, as well as the Instrument Rating. SkyHoppers offers an introductory 2-day Skywagon training program which includes 10-hours of Hobbs time & 16-hours of total instruction. Our flight training packages are also ideal for meeting insurance requirements, sampling the Skywagon before investing in your own, simultaneously earning the FAA high-performance & tailwheel endorsements for your logbook, or to simply enjoy piloting the quintessential American bush plane while joining the Chief Pilot on any of our popular Flight Training Excursions. Furthermore, the SkyHoppers Skywagon has been upgraded with the 275 horsepower 'Super Eagle' engine sporting a 3-blade seaplane propeller for better climb performance & speed, and Goodyear tundra tires adding to the fun!
